So Why Devi?
What does the seasonhave to do with Devi?
Veda:Akka… I understand the season now.
But what does any of this have to do with Devi?
Akka:In Shakta traditions, Devi is Shakti — the power
through which things become, move and change.
Akka:So seasonal change can help
us notice transformation.
But Devi is greater than any one season.
About Shakti
In Shakta traditions, Devi is understood as Shakti — divine power or potency. Shakti is not simply "energy" in the modern scientific sense. It points toward the power through which existence: manifests, acts, creates, sustains, and transforms. The changing world can therefore become one way of contemplating transformation. But the season itself is not Devi. And Devi is not reducible to nature.

The changing season becomes a way to contemplate transformation — not a definition of Devi.
Where do you notice change, growth, or renewal around you? What changes when you think of transformation as sacred?
