JOURNEY 3 · LOOK-AROUND · MANY WAYS TO CELEBRATE · SCENE 1
Why Doesn’t It Look the Same?
“Akka, I thought Navaratri would look the same everywhere.”
“Sometimes we expect one festival to have one shape.”
“But living traditions don’t always work that way.”
In one place, Navaratri may gather around dolls arranged with care at home.In another, it may bloom through flowers, open into shared movement,or fill a neighborhood with preparation and public celebration.
The differences are real.
They are not mistakes, and they are not decorations added to one single festival shape.
They are part of how communities live the sacred in their own worlds.
Notice what changes:

A sacred season can be shared without asking every community to express it in the same way.
If Navaratri can take many forms, what exactly is changing — and what is staying the same?
