Morning arrives quietly.

The lamps have burned lower. The dolls are still where we left them. The house begins to move again.

Nine nights have reached their end.

But perhaps an ending is also a good place to turn around and look once at the path behind us.

Not to measure how far we came.

Not to decide whether we changed enough.

Simply to notice what these nine nights asked us to practice.
