Journey 1 · Look Up · Sacred Time . Scene 4
The Nine Nights - Now we can count
The nine nightsunfold one by one.
At the start of the bright half of the lunar month,
the tithis unfold in sequence.
Navaratri is not nine random dates chosen
from a calendar. It is a sacred sequence of nine
nights within an older lunar way of experiencing time.
Veda Vichitra:So the nine nights are part of a pattern?
Akka:Yes. The sky is part of the calendar.
