Holding Is Not Owning
Skandamata holds Skanda close.
But holding someone close is not the same as holding them too tightly.
Care is not possession.
Something can be deeply held without being tightly controlled.
Akka:If you really care about something, don't you want to keep it safe all the time?
Ammomma:Yes. But keeping something safe is not the same as holding it too tightly.
Veda:Too tight can hurt?
Ammomma:It can.
To hold something with care is to give it: attention patience protection room
That is different from trying to control everything about it.
Some things need to be held closely. Not tightly.
Night 5 is not asking us to care less. It is asking us to notice the difference between: care and control
