Night Six · Return

WHERE WILL YOUR STRENGTH GO?

Katyayani

The night is quieter now. Not because everything is finished. It is not. Not because every question has been answered. It has not. But one thing has changed. Akka is no longer trying to send herself in every direction. She knows what matters next. And for tonight, that is enough.

Veda looks at Akka’s page.

Veda:

There are still things left.

Akka:

Yes.

Veda:

Are you going to do all of them?

Akka smiles.

Akka:

Not tonight.

Ammomma turns down the lamp.

Ammomma:

And tomorrow?

Akka looks once more toward Katyayani.

Akka:

I’ll look again.

Katyayani does not ask us to become endlessly forceful. She reminds us that strength can be gathered. It can be directed. And it can be used with care. Some nights, direction means taking action. Other nights, it means knowing what can wait. The important thing is not to send your strength everywhere simply because everything is asking for it. Pause. Look. Choose. Then let your strength arrive where it matters.

You do not have to carry everything forward. Carry what matters.

GG Lens

Direction is not a decision made once. What deserves your strength can change. So we keep looking. We keep choosing. And we learn not only how to be strong— but where to place that strength.
